300-Series Enclosures

Installation and Mounting

The 300-Series is available in four case designs to mount the batch controller in the most suitable way:
• Enclosure Type HK: Synthetic IP50 enclosure for wall mounting.
• Enclosure Type HL: Synthetic IP65 enclosure with transparent front-door for wall mounting.
• Enclosure Type HM: Panel mount IP65 with snug-fit aluminium front facia.
• Enclosure Type HX: Explosion-proof EExd enclosure.

All enclosures have a sealed keypad with twenty industrial micro-switch keys with tactile feedback and embossed design. The explosion-proof enclosure contains eighteen rugged metal keys.

Enclosure Type HK - Synthetic IP50 enclosure for wall mounting

This enclosure is made of polystyrol and is suitable for wall mounting with an ingress protection of IP50.

Enclosure Type HL - Synthetic IP65 enclosure with transparent front-door for wall mounting

This enclosure is mostly the same as the enclosure type HK. However, in contrast with enclosure type HK, this enclosure has a transparent front door and provides and ingress protection of IP65.

Enclosure Type HM - Panel mount IP65 with snug-fit aluminium front facia

This enclosure is ideal for food-industry applications. It is made of aluminium and fits in a panel cut-out of 212mm (8.35") x 142mm (5.59").

Enclosure Type HX - Explosion-proof EExd enclosure

For hazardous area installation, an explosion-proof enclosure is available which has been certified in accordance with ATEX

II 2 G EEx d IIB T5. The casing has a rugged keyboard with 18 metal keys and a large display with 9mm digits.
