Basic with a capital B
The Modbus communication and isolated output signals make the B-Connected a dedicated flow transmitter for connection to an automation network or PLC. The display shows flow rate, total and accumulated total.
The B-Series are basic indicators featuring the same high quality standards Fluidwell realizes throughout its portfolio: They’re extremely durable, reliable and easy to operate. The smart design of the rugged IP65 (Type 4X) GRP enclosure, ensures optimal mounting possibilities in various situations. The B-Series can be field mounted, wall mounted or mounted directly on the flowmeter.
The flow rate is transmitted with the isolated 4 - 20mA output signal. The output signal can be scaled to any desired range. An isolated scaled pulse output is available according the accumulated total. The pulse length can be set to 15msec or 100msec.
Characteristics
The B-Connected is a flow rate indicator / totalizer with basic functionalities in non-compromised quality according to Fluidwell’s high-end standards. The B-Connected features a competitive price level (especially in larger quantities) and offers several options for customization like (foil) color, logo placement and enclosure.
Operating
The B-Connected is extremely practical in use. The display, menu and navigation structure are designed according to the Fluidwell “know one, know them all” principle, which enhances easy and intuitive control of various Fluidwell totalizers, flow computers and other displays.
Remote configuration
Even more user-friendly is the remote configuration via a PC using the free downloadable Configuration Software. Simply plug the B-Connected Modbus RS485 connector with the special Configuration Cable (ACE06) to the USB port of your PC.
B-Series product range update
- In fact, from now on, all B-Series products can be programmed with the remote configuration tool!
- The B-Series are designed and will operate conform the applicable UK Legislation and Standards (UKCA), when installed and operated according to the related manuals.
- The plastic battery holder is replaced by 2 rugged metal battery holder clips.
