The F0-Series indicators for safe areas (option XX) are designed and will operate conform the applicable UK Legislation and Standards (UKCA), when installed and operated according to the related manuals.
The ATEX and IECEx approvals for the F0-Series are updated according the (EN) IEC60079 standards and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
This results in 2 small changes for dust applications:
- Ambient temperature:
For equipment category 1 D / EPL Da the maximum ambient temperature Ta is limited to +50°C (122°F) with a max. dust layer thickness of 200mm. - New marking:
II 1 D Ex ia IIIC T200 100°C Da.
For gas applications there are no changes.
