Stainless steel

Fluidwell is known worldwide for their rugged products. Fluidwell has raised the E-Series to the next level! Choose from two enclosures: A solid die cast aluminum or a high grade stainless steel 316L enclosure. The stainless steel enclosure is suitable for extremely salty atmospheres (offshore industries). The die cast aluminum enclosure is coated with two industrial components. It is better suitable for outdoor and chemical plant environments than the typical powder coated alternatives. Both IP66/IP67, Type 4X/7/9 enclosures have robust entry threads, e.g. a 1" NPT thread for direct flowmeter mounting.

Easy to operate

The E-Series has a very easy-to-operate keypad: Programming and operations is performed through the glass window without the need to remove the cover! Simple operation at any time, without a work permit to open the enclosure or for a plant shutdown. This valuable feature saves time, cost and hassle.

The E-Series is extremely user-friendly, just as all other Fluidwell products. No confusing menus or complicated hardware changes or actions, but a simple, logical menu-driven structure. Each setting is clearly indicated with an alphanumerical description, without confusing abbreviations and difficult codes. Once familiar with a Fluidwell product, you'll be able to program ALL models in ALL series, even without the use of manuals: Know one, know them all!

Even more user-friendly is the remote configuration via a PC using the free downloadable Remote Configuration Software. Just connect the E-Series to your PC with the special Remote Configuration Cable (ACE02) or with the Modbus or USB communication cables (ACE01/02/06/07) and configure the E-Series with the settings according your typical application.

Robust entry threads

The E-Series has a large spacious chamber for easy installation of various cables and connectors. After wiring all connectors, simply plug them into the separate E-Series main electronics module. The display may be rotated at four different 90 degrees viewing angles.

The unique LCD display provides multiple flow data at a glance. The main information is displayed with 12mm (0.47") and 7mm (0.28") digits to show flow rate, total and/or accumulated total. The speedometer offers a quick indication of the actual flow rate. For an optimal display in full sunlight and darkness, the E-Series is standard provided with a bright backlight. When battery powered the backlight is only operational after a keypad touch, to extend the battery lifetime.

Logged frequently, read out easily! When you easily want to monitor your flow measurements over time, the data logging at our E-Series Explosion Proof Totalizers is the perfect tool for you!

Convince yourself with this step-by-step interactive data log tutorial.

It can hold up to 2824 logs containing flow rate, total, accumulated total, date and time stamp. The data logging is extremely user-friendly to configure and read out. Logs are divided into interval, daily and event logs. You can navigate through the logs using the bright LCD screen and the very easy-to-operate through glass keypad. Datalogging is available on the E110 and the E112 flow rate indicators / totalizers.

Even more user-friendly is the remote configuration and data log extraction via a PC/laptop using the free downloadable data log extraction software.

Input features More >>

  • For flow-measurement, the instrument accepts signals from most flowmeters ranging from PD-meters with reed-switches or hall-effect sensors to turbine sine wave (coil) pick-ups and other NPN/PNP pulse outputs. NAMUR standard sensors and (0)4 – 20mA or 0 – 10V DC analog devices are also catered for. For applications with differential pressure flow transmitters, the analog input is adjustable from linear to square root calculation.
  • For pressure and temperature measurement, inputs are available for (0)4 – 20mA signals. For temperature measurement 2, 3 or 4 wire PT100 (PRTD) elements are also supported. Linearization of the input signal, square root calculation and data filter functions are all available.

Output features More >>

The flow rate is transmitted with the galvanically isolated 4 - 20mA output signal. This turns the unit into a powerful transmitter with a local display. The E-Series can even be powered via the isolated loop-current.

Transistor and mechanical relay outputs are available for high and low alarms or pulse signal output to transmit the totalized flow.

Communication More >>

The RS232 or RS485 2-wire interface makes it possible to communicate remotely, even with a battery-powered unit. All software parameters can be monitored and modified, also transfer the data using the Modbus protocol.

All processed data and settings can also be read and modified through the local USB communication which is located at the side entry plug. Under safe conditions, the plug can be removed for easy configuration or data log extraction.

Power requirements More >>

Several power inputs are possible to power the E-Series and sensor. As standard the E-Series can be loop powered via the isolated, two-wire, analog output. The battery powered version with a long life lithium battery and the basic 9 - 27V DC can power the E-Series including the backlight, but don't offer a real sensor supply. A real sensor supply of 8.2, 12 or 24V is optional available with type PD.
