F103

Weatherproof - Flow Logger / Totalizer

with linearization, analog and pulse outputs

Product description

The versatile F103 Flow Totalizer is your best choice for flow monitoring applications. It is perfect for new installations and to replace existing flow analyzers in the field. Its rugged construction, unique plug-and-play design and attractive pricing makes the F103 the perfect flow logger for liquid and gas flow measurement in Class I, Division 2 hazardous areas. It is the first F-Series with flow logging besides the various pulse and analog output signals. Even demanding applications are catered for with our base unit configuration.

The display shows flow rate and totals. A current day total (daily total) and 15 historical (previous) day totals can be enabled in the setup menu to be shown at the main display. On-screen engineering units can easily be configured from a comprehensive menu. The flow/data logging is optional available and when chosen, it replaces the basic 15 historical (previous) day totals. Each log contains the flow rate, total, acc. total, time stamp and log number. The log can be downloaded as .csv file with the free software tool.

Product specifications

  • Signal Inputs

    • Flowmeter Inputs

      • Pulse type inputs:
Non-isolated: Coil / sine wave, NPN/PNP, open collector, reed switch.
        Isolated : Active pulse input 3 - 30V DC
    • Status Inputs

      • Isolated and non-isolated remote control: external reset for clearing total or to disable manual clearing by the keypad.
  • Signal Outputs

    • Pulse outputs

      • Function: Scaled pulse output according to linearized accumulated total (e.g. a pulse every 3.25 gallons) and unscaled pulse input retransmission.
        Max. frequency: 500Hz.
Retransmission: Minimum pulse duration: 50µs, square wave output based on frequency of (sine wave or coil) input signal. Adjustable pulse length from 1 msec. Up to 10 seconds.
Isolated Scaledpulse output : max. 50Hz. Pulse length user definable between 10msec up to 10 seconds.
      • Type: Two passive transistor outputs and one isolated passive solid state output.
    • Analog outputs

      • Function: Re-transmitting the linearized flow rate - the output can be scaled to any range (e.g. 200 L/min to 1200 L/min).
      • Type: One galvanically isolated, loop powered 4 – 20mA output.
