The ATEX and IECEx approvals for the F1-Series are updated according the (EN) IEC60079 standards and the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
This results in 2 small changes for dust applications:
- Ambient temperature:
For equipment category 1 D / EPL Da the maximum ambient temperature Ta is limited to +50°C (122°F). - New marking:
II 1 D Ex ia IIIC T200 100°C Da.
For gas applications there are no changes.
