Setting the printer output for a totalizer ticket on the F119 / E119

In this tutorial we will learn how to set the printer output for a totalizer ticket on the Fluidwell F- and E119 flow totalizers. A totalizer ticket is used to print the current totalizer values, like Total, Accumulated total, Current day total and Previous day total. It can be printed on demand or automatically every day at a contract hour. Both the F- and E119 have the unique functionality to configure the Modbus communication port to send a receipt printing command.

Setting the printer output for a totalizer ticket on the F119 / E119

In this tutorial we will learn how to set the printer output for a delivery ticket on the Fluidwell F119 or E119 flow totalizers. A delivery ticket is used to print the current delivered value after an operator ends the delivery. It shows specific delivery data such as a start and finish time, delivered total and delivery number. Both the F and E119 have the unique functionality to configure the Modbus communication port to send a receipt printing command.

Explainer: Overrrun correction

An overrun may occur in a batch control process when the batch ends, and the control output deactivates the pump or valve. The remaining fluid in the system that has already passed will be added to the batch. This will cause an inaccurate batch volume.
Fluidwell batch controllers have a self-learning overrun correction. During a specific time, set by the operator, the controller analyzes the overrun volume of the batch and automatically corrects the end-of-batch timing of the control outputs.

Setting the preset value and start a batch on the F- and D-Series batch controllers

Learn how to set the preset value, start and stop a batch and change the preset value again on the F-and D-Series batch controllers. The preset is the value that represents the “to be delivered” or batched quantity. All F-Series and D-Series batch controllers have the same easy steps to enter a preset value, start and stop a batch.

Setting the display refresh rate and extend the battery life for F-Series Indicators.

Fluidwell lithium batteries have an exceptional operational and shelf life. The F-Series has several smart power management functions to extend the battery life significantly, typically from 2 to 7 years. When stored at approx. 20°C/70°F, the batteries have a shelf life of 10 to 12 years.

MC-III vs Fluidwell F103 Wiring exchange

Thanks to the 1-to-1 wiring transfer, the Fluidwell F103 can easily replace the MC-III in the field. We will show you how to wire the F103 weatherproof Flow logger / Totalizer when switching from an MC-III weatherproof Flow Analyzer. Take careful notice of all safety and precautionary measures indicated in the manual and follow the local Lockout Tagout procedures before exchanging any field or power supply wiring.

Setting the K-factor for volumetric flow rate and mass total on the F-Series

Learn fast how to set the K-factor of 25.07705 for volumetric flow measurement in US gallons per minute and the K-factor of 6.64605 for mass Total flow measurement in kilogram. This setup is often used in weighing applications with flowmeters.

Setting the K-factor for volumetric flow rate and total on the F-Series

Learn fast how to set the K-factor for volumetric flow measurement to 25.07705. Furthermore we will configure the settings to display the Total and Flow rate in US gallons per minute.

How to use the F103 quick setup

The Quick Setup of the F103 Totalizer provides a user-friendly 1 button access to the most commonly used settings, this saves time and makes commissioning an easy job. For more advanced settings the full setup remains available.

Setting the span for flow rate on the F-series

Learn fast how to set the span for an analog input on the F-Series Flow rate Indicators, Totalizers and Flowcomputers. The span is used to convert the 4 - 20mA flowmeter signal into a measured flow rate or total quantity.

Calculation example

Setting the span on a Fuidwell F090

Learn fast how to set the span and offset for an analog input on the F090 General Purpose Indicator. The programming instruction can also be used for our temperature and pressure indicators, though menu items can slightly differ with the ones shown in this video.

Calculation example

Setting the span for level & height on the F-Series

Learn fast how to set the span and offset for an analog input on the F073 Level Monitor with a simultaneous level and height indication. The programming instruction can also be used for other Level Indicators and Monitors, though menu items can differ slightly with the ones shown in this video.

Calculation example

Setting the pulse input signal on the F-Series

Learn fast how to set the pulse input on the F-Series Flow rate Indicators, Totalizers and Flowcomputers. A flowmeter output signal with a passive N-P-N or P-N-P, an active pulse or Namur signal, a reed-switch or coil signal can be connected. The signal type matching your flowmeter can easily be selected in the setup menu without having to adjust any sensitive mechanical dip-switches or jumpers.

Setting the input linearization on the F-Series

Learn fast how to set the input linearization on the F-Series Flow rate Indicators, Totalizers and Flow computers. Linearization of the input signal is often used in applications with a demand for high accuracy in the full range of the flowmeter. The enhanced signal affects the displayed flow rate and total, as well as the analog and pulse outputs. Depending on the model, the F-Series have 8 - up to 15 - linearization points.

Alarm values and settings on the F-Series

Learn fast to set the alarm values and settings on the F-Series Flow rate Monitors and Totalizers. In this example we will set the following alarm settings on a F018. The Process Management has determined the safety   conditions for the Lo alarm at 18% and Hi alarm at 83% of the total range in this example.

Display various flow information on the F-Series

Learn fast how to display the various flow information on the F-Series Flow rate Indicators, Monitors and Totalizers. The dual line display shows all info at a glance.
